Breathwork & Microcosmic Orbit Meditation (technique explanations)

Hey there thanx for being here!

At our channel we care deeply about your inner peace & provide tips & techniques that I have learned in my 25+ year professional career as a healer, acupuncturist & Dr. of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

In this short video we chat about meditation & breathwork techniques that can help you better understand your energetic anatomy, expand upon your spiritual language & help you experience your body using concepts unique to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yogic Pranayama & Taoist theory.

The techniques covered are :

The Microcosmic Orbit Meditation Your central meridian channels ~ Ren (Yin) & Du (Yang)

Nadi Shodhana ~ alternate nostril breathing for calming your nervous system

Humming (sometimes called buzzing) to help tone & harmonise your vagus nerve. Your vagus nerve is the longest of your cranial nerves & travels from your brain stem to your colon. It is an important pathway for sensory communication such as pain, touch & temperature. Responsible for regulating functions such as digestion, heart rate, breathing, swallowing, tasting & movement of your tongue & throat it is an incredibly complex pathway. Toning your vagus nerve via simple exercises such as humming can help improve all of the above functions as well as act as a psychological harmoniser. The key to achieving results, like anything worthwhile, is in a Daily Practice.

Please join me in the next video where we string it all together in a relaxing meditation practice.

Inner Peace begins with you!
