Throughout the second half of 2021, my forever guy Benji & I have been busily designing & creating a home studio for content creation. It feels like pure download, like this is our next big step no doubt about it. Professional quality lighting, cameras, MacBooks, audio gear plus a multitude of bibs & bobs. All of which I’m learning how to drive. Massively steep learning curve! After almost 20 happy years together & 2 radiant kids, this is our first creative collaboration… We’re both really happy working together & the flow feels GREAT 🙌🏼

We make short videos for YouTube about acupressure & body/breath/meditation techniques to help you resolve common problems such as overwhelm, headaches, stress, anxiety, digestive & sleep. I have been a licensed & registered acupuncturist since 2003, so I am qualified to help you with this information. Our current project is a little series for our YouTube channel ~ Peace, Love & Acupuncture ~ to help you get started with setting up your meditation practice. Everything you need from the ground up. We hope you find it helpful whether you are a complete beginner unsure of how to begin, or if you are seeking inspiration for your current practice. I have been teaching meditation in small group environments both online & in person, since February 2016.

But first the studio! We chose domino for the back wall because we have this colour in our lounge room & it looks fantastic, its easy to light & we want our aesthetic to feel Vintage Zen. So the colour for us feels perfect. Our audio rig has been transformed from my AirPods to wireless Rode mics, a Rode video mic NTG & last week our very own Senheisser arrived! Sweet!
Our lighting rig is an overcapitalised Aputure 120d with lightdome ii. It’s literally as big as the sun but the wrap around light is glorious. We also use other Aputure fill lights which are portable so I can take them to Sweetwater & have various colour options.
We are filming on 2 cameras. A Sony A7c with a 90mm macro & a Sony FX3 with a 20mm 1.8 lens. For editing we are using Final cut pro.
